Hello
My name is Jan Dietner
As a young industrial designer with a strong educational background and a passion for creativity and innovation, I offer a unique set of skills to my clients. With my training from the High School of Design and Photography Ljubljana and my degree from the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, I have developed a deep understanding of the design process and a keen eye for detail. I am constantly exploring new ideas and techniques, and I am committed to delivering thoughtful and functional design solutions that exceed my clients' expectations. By hiring me, you can expect a collaborative and customized approach to your design needs, resulting in products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and effective.

My Design Philosophy
Industrial design and service design are both disciplines that focus on creating solutions that meet the needs of users. Some of my important principles in industrial and service design include:
-
Prioritizing the functionality of a product or service above all else. The solution must be easy to use, reliable, and meet the needs of the user.
-
A product's form or a service's interface should be visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing while also being practical and efficient.
-
Striving to create solutions that are simple and easy to use. Complexity should be avoided unless it is necessary for the solution's function.
-
Design should be made so good that it is subconsciously invisible to the user.
-
Designers are increasingly aware of the impact of their solutions on the environment and strive to create products and services that are sustainable and have a minimal impact on our planet.
-
Focusing on the needs and preferences of the user, incorporating feedback and testing throughout the design process to ensure that the solution is user-friendly and meets the needs of its intended audience.
-
In design we also shouldn´t let anything up to coincidence, everything has a purpose.
Programs

Rhinoceros is a popular program for industrial design because it allows designers to create complex 3D models with precision and ease. It is particularly useful for designing complex geometries and organic shapes that can be difficult to create using other design software.
Projects I have done at the university, for clients and in my free time.
